Funds Needed!

As mentioned previously, our spring musical is Beauty and the Beast. Unfortunately, it is a very complicated and expensive show. The grants we were given came with guidelines as to how we could use the money, and paying for a muscal theater production wasn't an option. We started with $4,362. The royalties cost $3,168. The approximate cost of the musical is $14,000. That brings us to
-$12,806. We ask for your help and to make donations towards this much needed cause.
Every little bit helps!
You may make a check out to
PSHS/DRAMA/MUSICAL and mail to PSHS Drama @ 2401 E. Baristo Rd, PS 92262.
or you can bring money on down yourself and recieve many smiling faces and hugs to show our immense gratitude.
Thank you.

New York Yuletide Return
Thanks to those who joined us on our trip to the Big Apple. Mr. DiLorenzo and the students, as well as the parent chaperones, had a stupendous time celebrating the new year in Times Square. While visiting, they attended critically acclaimed shows such as Young Frankenstein, Fuerza Bruta, and Gone Missing.
Next year they plan on returning to the Big Apple.

Congratulations to all the cast and crew of Taming of the Shrew!

Shakespeare Competition
Two of our senior students, Devin Bonnee and Jessica Lenz, competed in the English Speaking Union National Shakespeare Competition on February 15th at the College of the Desert. Devin Bonne made it past the semi-finals and proceeded to win first place in the finals competition on February 17th at the Temple Isaiah. Now Devin Bonnee, accompanied by the amazing Scott DiLorenzo, will be flying to New York to compete for the number 1 title in May. We all wish that Devin breaks a leg and comes back with the glory from winning.

Congratulations all Fullerton Theater Festival Participants!

Induction Ceremony
Friday, April 4th is a very special night in our Theater Company. It is when our hard working students who have earned at least 10 Thespian points or more are inducted into the International Thespian Society. Last year, we inducted 54 new members! And this year we have 25 more to add. This candle lighting ceremony is very special and we ask that the students dress up. Can't wait to see you there!

Awards Banquet
Join us on June 6th to celebrate and congratulate students. Awards will be given out for categories such as "Best Actor," "Best Actress," and the coveted "Best Man in a Dress/Woman in Pants & Sock." This is a semi-formal event.
P.S. Word has it that there will be two seperate performances to honor Mrs. Rosemary Mallett and Mr. Scott DiLorenzo. It should be fun!!!...and very interesting...
